Help with powerhead

OK, my powerhead keeps sucking my fish up and killing them. Its pretty frustrating, any suggestions on ways to fix that other than taking it out?

You could try putting a sponge on the inlet of the powerhead. You can probably get them in you fish store

Most likely the fish are sick and slow and being sucked up by the ph. I healthy fish usually will not get sucked into a powerhead.

IM going to try the sponge idea, I know they are healthy so its not because they are sick
