Today I saw in my lfs a small about 1" eel
They had it under ziczac or zigzag eel couldn't really understand it
Is that the same as a tire track eel?
How big do they get?
& what kind of environment do they need?

zigzag eel
Size: up to 20 inches in captivity
They will eat bloodworms,blackworms,frozen brine shrimp.
The zigzag and the tire track eel look almost the same. Make sure you know what you are getting as the zigzag will grow larger then the tire track eel.
Temp: 72 - 82° F
Hardness: 15 dGH
pH: 6.5 - 7.5

Get a good cover for your tank as they are known to jump out at night while they are roaming around. make sure you cover even the smallest holes in the back of your tank where your filter is also. They will also eat small live fish when they get bigger.

But what are the physical diff. between them?
Are they completely fresh water?
One of the store owners had told me they were brackish
