I pool breed fish every summer and this year want to branch out and do some egg layers. My plan is to start with some type of barb and later move the barbs and do an antabantoid / gourami. The problem is not the breeding it is the getting rid of the fish at the end of the season. In other words I don't want a 1,000 fish nobody will take. Here is my question, what fish from the list below do you think would work best.

Barbs:
Rosy, Cherry or Gold?
Gourami:
Pearls, Croaking, Sparkling, Licorice, Giant Thick Lip or Dwarfs and if so what kind?

Last question, the pools get up to 90 degrees do you think Sailfin Mollys would thrive?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.
