10 gallons right now but I also have a 75 gallon one to

Your rainbow shark will outgrow the 10 gallon fairly quickly so its good you have the 75 as well. I've never had any problems with my red tail shark and pleco

Idd, my redtail and my two plecos (common and snowball) get along fine.

I've never seen my shark jump but it doesn't mean that yours won't, make sure you have a good fitting lid. Also as a side note I've heard that they can get more aggressive the older they get

they're notorious jumpers so a cover / hood is a must. My Red-Tail shark (similar species to rainbow) hasn't tried it that I've seen ... but I've seen it make a dash from the bottom to the surface and then turn back down ... but with the speed it neared the surface it would have easily cleared my tank and landed a few feet away ... easily.

Ya because a few days ago I had a different one that jumped out of the tank
