Hello Everyone,
My phosphate today was at 2.0 with lots of algae growing. I was wondering how to get rid of this phosphate. I have a 54 gallon DAS aquarium with built in filtration a so I can't use the API PHOS-ZORB. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone tells me that regular large water changes are the way to go. My tank has phosphates around 5.0 lately and I use a product that absorbs it through the filter. Unfortunately because the levels are coming from too many root tabs, the pad isn't really working. There are liquid products that will trap and remove phosphate. Maybe that will help you.

Hey thanks for the reply,
I have done a water change only knocking it down to what looks like 1.5, do you know what the liquid product is called?

Sorry, not sure what the name was. It's online at Drs. Foster and Smith

Ok I'll look for it and see If that will help. Thank you for the reply!
