How long can a maroon clownfish live in a 5 gallon bucket? I purchased a 65 gallon tank that I am picking up Friday. It's only inhabitant is a maroon clown, which my neighbor wants to buy, but he can't get it until Saturday. Would it be possible to leave him in the bucket I transport him in that long?

As long as the water is kept warm, circulating and being aerated it should be fine for 1 day.

If u set up a drip and have a heater in the bucket u will be fine. When I was acclimating my girlfriends green spotted puffer fish over to full saltwater he was in 2 gal of water with a heater and a drip. He was like that for about 4 days now. he is full saltwater and happy as can be. Just remember to do water changes so the ammonia does not overwhelm the fish.
