How often should I feed my fish?

1 or 2 times a day, as much as they can eat in a couple of minutes...

as long as you put what they can eat in, you'll be fine. i do it morning, when i get home from school/work. if i get home early enough, before i go to bed

2x per day, smaller feedings. Only what they can eat in a minute or two. They will always act as if they are hungry and that is a good thing.

Used to feed 3X a day, now down to 2X a day (morning and at night). One day per week fasting. Generally the day prior or day after will be a meal of peas for constipation prevention.

I honestly feel more importantly than how much or when to feed is to VARY the diet. No on single food is best for any fish (though staple flake food is close).

I feed them 3 times per day using flakes, dry larvae and frozen food. Sometimes I don´t have time to give them frozen food so I just throw some more flakes.
