I am new at owning a 12gallon nano tank passed down to from my son. I have had it up and running now for about 4 months. I have owned freshwater tanks in the past... This is my first salt tank. I am hoping to learn much from this forum and maybe some day when I have some some experience and knowledge that I will be able to pay it forward.

Welcome to AA, just a quick note that for a first SW tank you may want to consider a 20-30G tank as the bigger the tank the easier it is to maintain all of the levels, though you have the tank and with a bit of research and searching through this site I'm sure you can handle a nano. Good luck!
