Hurt goldfish what should I do.

I own more than one tank. I was cleaning both of them. And one of my family members put my goldfish in the tank with my turtles by time I noticed it was too late. My fish was beat up really bad, no tail swiming upside down. I know no matter what I do he can not make it. It was suggested that I stop his pain .. but I really don't want to do that. Should I do this?

Well, if his tail is gone all the way down to his body, I don't think there is much hope. If he has some tail left, you could put him in his own tank and keep the water REALLY clean, and see how he does.

Good luck. Really clean water can help a fish heal more than you might think. I am talking daily or more water changes.

He did not make it . It sucked because I got the fish out of the turtle tank because someone told me that they could eat him. And just someone trying to help, put him in to the wrong tank .
