hyposalinity

I have been treating a seahorse with medication and hyposalinity. She is ready to go back to the DT. I am trying to slowly raise the salinity so I can move her. I am adding saltwater by a few cups at a time. Having a hard time brining up the salt. I figured it would go up on its own by adding saltwater only, however it is taking a long time. Any suggestions? would removing water and how much?
be ok? I am using a 8 gallon nano for my hospital tank

Im guessing the more you add the closer it is to overflowing lol?

Why dont you disolve a table spoon of salt in RO water. Throw that in and see what reading you get. Of course you want to do this as slowly as possible.

Adding mixed saltwater will only get the salinity to the same level of the alreay mixed saltwater.

Another option is to allow it to evapourate without topping up.
