I've never had convicts but I'm not fond of the idea of either rehoming any other fish during mating or having only convicts

And then I'd feel obligated to set up breeder tanks lol and I've got other tank plans before that happens again. Already went through that with my malawi tank. Those Fish breed like crazy...

I think as far as another hyper agressive tank goes I want to hold off until I get my 125 up and running with the africans again. Probably early next year. Reason being, I'm more comfortable overstocking that tank because my filtration is soooo much better.

I think 55 gallons are the best for 1 or 2 large schools of tetras and a couple colorful centerpiece fish with some unique bottom feeders. (no cories) maybe Pleco or loach. But it's them large schools that will catch people's attention.

Here's the tank all finished except for cycling and then adding fish. I've made up my mind and am going with the kribs. Found a local breeder with some beautiful looking fish. Still not sure if I like the amount of rock though. I might end up removing a couple or few pieces. Opinions and or criticism is welcome as long as your respectful...
