I Lost the war!

So after a battle with aiptasia, i finally admit defeat. This stuff is relentless. like the mythological creature the hydra, kill one...three more come back. Before I knew it my entire tank was consumed with this pest. So I decided on the nuclear option...I have removed my live rock from the tank and will wait until the rock is no longer able to support a home for the aiptasia. My fish hate me now because there is no place to hide. My question is what is the best way to do this? How long should I wait before putting the "live Rock" back into the tank?

If you removed your livestock, simply take a lighter to the aiptasia! Clean it off with some good old RO/DI and you should be good to go.

have you tried peppermint shrimp? They completely removed it from my tank.
