Ok I've been reading pretty much all the the threads/posts on here for the last couple of months ever since I got my first tank, being a complete and utter newbie to fish keeping I would not presume to offer advice to anyone but am simply here to learn from you people who have obviously been keeping fish for a lot longer than the couple of months I have, when I read some of the posts on here I think to myself, well I know the answer to that and on a couple of occasions I have tentatively given an answer, this has been given with a note saying I'm no expert but for what it's worth here's my two penneth!, I may be speaking completely out of turn here but what the hell it's a public forum so I'm gonna say what I think, so guppie student you seem to be very quick to offer advice and quote all sorts of facts and figures but then say you want to take it further when you have learnt more yourself, how can you be offering this advice when you have already said you are new to fish keeping and are here to learn, one minute your saying your here to learn and the next you are giving advice as though your a marine freshwater expert, maybe it's just me and I'm just tired, but I have to say I'm begining to find I avoid your posts and replies as I find them if not ill informed almost condescending in the manner in which you write them, maybe it's just me but I am a guy who says it like I find it and I love reading posts from people who absolutely from the outset know what they are talking about, to name just a couple who come to mind, convict, momma of four, jetta, samster, I could go on and and on with people who in the short tIme I've been using is forum I've come to respect, so is it just me who thinks that guppie student needs to learn a little more before being so quick to offer advice or at the very least set out his/her credentials for offering such advice?
