I need to add more sand into my tank

I have a 30 gallon freshwater tank, and I need to add more sand to it. Any suggestions, without making my tank cycle again

It shouldn't cycle again. Your just adding sand. Just rinse it out well before you put it in and turn your filter off till it settles. Unless you can put some foam in the intake so it doesn't get sand in there.

Should I do a water change after wards? Because once I start takin out all my deco in order to add another layer of sand, a lot off poop is bound to come up. Should I do a water change, add sand, then fill it up. And probably use some prime.

+1 trust me sand and filter don't mix. You read my nightmare post LOL!
