could be too.... there really are a lot that looks close to each other. more pics closer up might help. the one you posted above was a juvy so might not look exactly that way as adults. what size is yours?

El pleco, lol. Like the pic, it is cute. Honestly, i think it is more your call. In the end we can not 100% ID it without a superb picture which most people cant supply, so in the end it is you call.

El Pleco it is. My curiosity is satisfied as far as his L number as long as he is healthy and happy I am too.
