Well, you could cram a lot of incompatible or known territorial (when breeding) species together and make it work, it happens all the time, it's just not something that I advise people to do.

You're in for some serious aggression when the 6 you have hit sexual maturity. IMO you will end up with a pair of cons in that 55... whether or not you rehome the extras.
