I think I'm doing something wrong

after a few failed betta spawns i did some research plus received some advice from some very helpful ppl from this website and started what i thought was a proper breeding tank. Now that i have a pretty awesome breeding tank none of my males are making bubble nests at all... are they too old? is there some trick or certain requirement?

Did you condition both the male and the female? lots of rich food, blood worms, etc. perhaps the ph, temp, wasn't right. Did you separate to condition?
