Hi,
So I'm supposed to pick up my 90 gallon tomorrow that is already stocked with corals and such. My question is how would I move everything without damaging the corals or rock. I live about 45 minutes away from where I'm picking it up. I was planning on removing fish then draining the whole aquarium while leaving the corals, anemones, and clam out of the water for an hour while I transport it. Does anyone know if that could work or if there is any other way I could transport the tank. Pics are below :) thanks

Sorry they arent the best pictures. Those were the ones I recieved from the seller.

Expect a lot of die off, just to let you know. I haven't had to move but I know your best bet is to keep them moist rather than completely dry or submerged while moving. I'll look into it for you if nobody else chimes in.

I for sure would keep everything submerged. It will lessen the die off from the live rock. The corals need to be in water as well. :)

Good luck, looks like a nice tank! Show us pictures when you finish re setting it up.

Looks like I wont be getting the 90 because the seller raised the price to 1500 which I think is overpriced. So I will try to buy all his corals and get a 75G and stand from petsmart.

Oh...45 minute trip. Yea, submerge for sure lol. It's just better on super long trips to keep moist rather than submerged to prevent the livestock from dying as a result of ammonia and whatnot from any die off.

This has been one slow and boring build but hopefully it will be alot faster. Today I got 2 large mated percula clowns, leather, birdsnest, frogspawn, torch, and some more stuff. I'm trying to make 3 or 4 trips and the things I got today were only a fraction of his tank. Everything he had could probably stock a 125. I also got a cleaner clam!! I'll try to get pics up by the morning.

Got pics of the new corals for the 75 gallon tank. Just found out my clowns are now hosting a frogspawn. And I got a 2nd Ro/di unit so faster pwc.

Srry for not updating in forever. I got alot of stuff the past three days.
So far my stock is at about 20 corals and I'm trying to go for 35-40 different types. I also am trying to decide whether or not I should get a phosphate reactor. Read alot of good reviews and it's not too expensive . Anyways here are pics of everything
