Ich during cycle?

I'm doing a fish in cycle. Currently in nitrite phase still I think( nitrite is or has been at 0 for two days). Anyway 2 of my black neons have white spots on them. Now how am I supposed to Medicare and maintain cycle and cycled filter media?

No. You can treat with heat or heat and salt. No need for medications. Slowly increase the heat up to 86-88F and increase aeration. You can slowly add 1 tablespoon per 5g of water (or half dose if you have sensitive fish). What other fish are in the tank?

I would try just heat to begin with. It is more safe than medication IMO. Make sure it reaches over 86F at least. Any lower will just speed up the ich life cycle. I wouldn't go any higher than 90F.

Minimum two weeks, longer if the ich is still present. No need to change filter media and it won't effect your cycle.
