On the qt tank you need to test parameters almost daily and do a water change if nessessary for the first week or two. The dt I would think you can do them less frequently since there is no fish in there to build waste.
 
24 hours into hypo treatment my fish have less white spots on them seems to be working good still eating fine
 
Cool. Don't be surprised if it does get worse again. Either the hypo is killing it or it's falling off and going into another life cycle . You may see a few cycles while in hypo.
 
Ok but eventually it will die off during the next 8 weeks ??
 
Yes as long as you don't let the salinity go over 1.009 it will all be gone. That was just to let you know so your not surprised If it does get bad one day . It usually gets worse before it gets better.
 
It's been 2 weeks since I qt my fish so far so good they are ick free an my dt has also been empty I hate waiting I can't wait to put them back in but still have long wait to go
