a coral dip such as coral rx, melafix, etc... is necessary. It rids (or almost completly rids) the coral of pests such as zoa eating nudis, flatworms, etc. its a preventative action
$40. for a colony that large isn't bad at all
I buy a a bunch of of large colony's but I also frag them up and sell/trade them for other zoa's
if I like a certain colony I will find a nice home in my tank for them
