New orange sponge. Inside there is a white tube with lots (8+) of human hair like worms that stretch out about 3 inches and wiggle around like earth worms freely in the water twirling or exploring other parts of the sponge. Sometimes they go to the top of the sponge and sometimes they move to the bottom through the tube that goes through the sponge.

They seem to be living in the white tube but more so like they just took up residency after it was empty. They never fully leave the tube. Once I noticed one did fully drop out. Just long and stringy. It found it's way back in.

They are translucent mostly with a tint of pink/white coloring.

No photos becase they are too thin to show up.

My red striped cleaner shrimp ignore them.

Worried they could sting me.

Thank you.

It's a Spaghetti worm it seems like. Creepy looking thing but seems harmless. I thought maybe it could have stinging tenticals like a jellyfish. But the link says it's harmless. They have a great pic too, just search "Spaghetti" on the page.
