Injecting CO2 direct through Rena XP1

I haven't with the XP1, but I have with the XP2 and XP3. Just run your CO2 into an airstone located under the XP1 intake, and it will suck in the finer bubbles, and you won't have any problems. The finer the bubbles, the better it will be. I prefer Limewood airstones, which you can get online from bigalsonline.com.
 
but wouldnt that cause air in the xp3? isnt this a bad thing might burn motor?
