I have a crayfish that just molted, and I know they eat their molt, but I was wondering, should I stop feeding him while he has pulled his molt into this little cave and is snacking on that?

I'd still feed but feed a little less perhaps. They'll eat part of their old skin in any case, not for nutritional value but for the calcium it contains so that their new skin hardens more quickly (and therefore they aren't vulnerable for as long a period of time). Same with shrimp too.

I would feed him a bit but just watch because he will mostly only eat about 80-90% of his shell.
