Is it me or are my air stones losing their air too quickly?

It seems like these air stones aren't lasting very well. What causes them to lose air within a few days? Could this be a bad batch? Could it be something in NY aquarium environment I can't feel on it?

how long have you had it? you can dip it in the vinegar and try to un-clog it. but obviously it could be a bad unit.

I have used this one for about 4 days. The previous one, two weeks.

What do you mean by "lasting very well"? like how the bubbles are only coming out of certain part of the airstone?

Mostly CFMs. The ones I had as a kid only needed a scrubbing every month and would last six months. These clog in a week and I have been unable to clean adequately as of yet. Not sure why yet though they look and feel clean.
