When I drop one in for my shrimp snail and corys my betta goes and takes bites out of them even though he already ate?
Anybodys betta do this too?

My two do the same, they are pigs and have to check out anything and everything that hits the water! Normal behavior. So not to over feed your betta you might want to feed the shrimp after lighs out.
