I heard that albino cories are blind.
is this true??

that would be ideal for my tank because the cories I have always dart and hide away when I approach the tank.
After 30 seconds of settling down, they quietly sneak out and start playing again.

So if I had an albino variety, they would be active 24/7 !

no, Albino Cories are not blind. There are certain species of fish on the market that are blind. Most noticeably would be certain varieties of cave dwelling fish that are born with no eyes (very interesting to look at).

Cories are fairly skittish but do become accustomed to you being around, but that takes quite a long time from what i have experienced

Yep, LunchBox is right. At first, they can be pretty shy, but after a few weeks, they shouldn't mind you coming up to the tank at all.

Mine actually start nosing around when I get near because they think its dinner time.
