Have just noticed last night that my fish has been swimming at an angle round the tank and I don't know why. He had been doing this most of the day now and he keeps mostly doing this towards the bottom of the tank never the top. Is he dying?

Possible over feeding or, swim bladder, maybe constipation, keep your water clean just in case, anyone else got an idea?

Have just done a big water change today and hoovered gravel, hopefully he will pull through :0(

My platy had the same thing, u fortunately he didn't survive :(
I think it is quite common for platys, not sure what it was though, possibly swim bladder, i heard maybe even a heart attack!
I hope your fish pulls through, fingers crossed

Have just been observing him, he is still eating fine but cannot get to the top of the tank, he can come up half way to feed.

Dont feed him for few days then feed him a pea. He might just be constipated

Do u use aquarium salts. Is the dude heavy breathing? Is he getting picked on? Have u tested water? Good sign is he is eating. I no when I have had problems it is the first thing I notice.
