My gf got it for me from SeaWorld and asked me to put in the tank I'm setting up. I told her it wasn't as simple as just plopping items into the aquarium, I had to make sure it wouldn't disrupt the safety of my inhabitants. I told her I'd see what I could do.

Well it's a sea turtle obviously and it has a porcelain feel. The shell appeares to be carved from natural rock and the rest is kind of jadelike in appearance. The only paint apps I noticed, if any, are the curved scale lines but it doesn't appear to be a major concern. Does anyone know if I'm okay to rinse something like this and put it in my tank? There's currently nothing living in it

All I can say is that I have some polished/waxed (they feel like they are coated in wax and are really smooth) rocks in my tank, and if the shell of the turtle is made of that than that part will be okay. but idk much about that stuff.
