Java moss

So I've learned more about java moss but the only thing I can't find is how to plant it i know you can attach it to mesh for moss walls but what about for carpeting the bottom?
 
Use thread to pin it down to a coconut shell, rock, or driftwood piece. You can also pin it between 2 mesh sheets. You can use cloth screen materials like out of windows, or they make mesh specially designed for that. Basically, it needs to anchor on to something. Eventually the mesh will rot away, but the moss will stay bonded on your tank floor or wall if you make a moss wall.
 
That's what I thought about doing with the mesh sheets seems easy enough thanks
