This weekend I purchased 5 Julii Corys from my lfs. Very cool and playful fish. I am definitely a big fan. However 4 of them tend to always hang out and swim together and 1 is all by himself. Is this normal? Would you recommend perhaps purchasing a few (2-3) more? The loner comes out and eats when its feeding time but just doesnt hang out in the group. Thank you for the help.

Your fish are guaranteed trilineatus not julii. Julii are very uncommon in the hobby and can't really be confirmed without collection locale. Pet stores mislabel them all the time.
5 is a good group but I'm always the one who votes for more cories...depending on your tank size. They shoal loosely if they feel secure so I wouldn't worry too much about a loner unless you see physical symptoms that would indicate something is wrong with the fish.
Good luck! I love cories ;)
