I have 7, 1 inch krib fry in my 20 gal grow out tank and this guy is a little smaller then all. I notice part of his gill plate is missing. Did it get bitten of or is it sick? All the other fish are fine. Its in the picture, the little red spot. Will it grow back, should I be worried and make it a cull?

It's possible this guy was just born with a deformity? It would ultimately be your decision to cull. If he's behaving normal, eating and eliminating, swimming fine, then you can just let him grow up that way. If your plan is to sell him, then you would have to consider culling.
