large pleco losing color

I was givin a ten gallon tank with an 8 inch 3 year old plecostomus in it with not much room left for him to roam so I got a 65 gallon tank set up and gtg after him being in the new tank a couple weeks hes starting to turn more of a tan color, just kind of worried any info helps thanks

no expert but maybe old tank scendrome? prolly didnt spell that right lol

Anything helps ill look it up im just worried because a few years ago I had convict cichlids that got super pale before they up and died.

Does it seem active and eating? What are the water parameters in his new home, and how long has he been in there?

He is eating and swimming like normal I am giving him a different type of food than he had been eating could that be causing it? The water tests good every time so I wasn't sure what could be going on
