Leather toadstool

Is my toadstool dieing it seemed like it was doing really well growing a lot but it hasnt been opening up the past few days im wondering if it could possibly be shedding?

Mine does that from time to time, especially if other corals sting it. Usually takes a week or two for mine to extend its polyps again.

check your water parameters high trates will make it upset

Might just be shedding that leathery skin like they do from time to time. But I'd still check parameters to be safe.
