I've heard of leopard danios but swordtail? I can't find any info on google. Does it actually have a sword tail and leopard pattern?

I'll try to get better pictures. They are selling the wild strain and then tank raised. Only males. The guy that sells them doesn't hand out the females he. Doesn't want people breeding them

By any chance, did you get these at AllFish Emporium? I went there on Saturday and got one. The sign said "Rare Leopard HiFin Swordtail" and because it said rare, I might as well get one even though it's the most money I've spent on a fish ($9.99). At the time, there were only three in the tank. My girlfriend said I'm a sucker to get it just because it says rare (No way to prove how rare it is). Maybe, if they are really rare, I should go get another one.

Yes to the AllFish emporium. I'm sure they are wild. And the breeder only sells to all fish emporium
