Lighting a small tank

Does it have a hood? We have a small hooded 2 gallon betta bowl that came with a tiny night light style bulb. I replaced the original bulb with a mini-base candelabra cfl and it works great for the plant we have in there. Given the small size of the tank, it's actually brighter than our 38 gallon tank.

It has a led light that lights it from underneath (doesnt work because I modded the tank).
 
Well plan on it. The stock bulb would most Lilly only grow algae. I know they make a plant bulb that will fit in the cheapo hood that comes with a 5g tank cus I bought one. Think it was 5 bucks at petco.
