Need some help.. one of my vho bulbs has faded bad..

Just the best option..

I have about 70 to spend on lighting improvement. I have two t8 bulbs on the back and my 4' 220w vho setup on my 125. I would like to remove these two bulbs that are a warm yellow color and go with something brighter. They are T30WF8 Bulbs by Aqua-Rays. NO bulbs. My VHO setup has a 48" actinic bulb that seems fine but the 10k bulb is burned out. The ballast is the AS220 off of hellolights.com. What are you opinions to getting 'decent' lighting for around 70?

Thanks.

Are you looking to replace your lighting system or just the bulbs?

for bulbs there are a lot of online options that you should be able to find something to fit your budget.

Well I would like to get the lighting up to 3-5wpg. I know I can buy 4 ballasts to power 4 bulbs each. Thats 30 w each x 16. about 5 wpg if I also plug in my vho. I'm just curious if the light will penetrate enough. Tank is 20" tall. I'm going to remove the glass completely on the hood... right now i'm using half glass on the top.
