Hey everyone,
I'm very new to planted tanks, I have a 10 gallon tank set up right now which is stocked with Anacharis, Java Fern, Anubias, Hygrophilia, an Amazon sword, and micro swords.
I replaced my stock light with this bulb: Zoo Med T-8 Flora Sun Max Plant Growth Fluorescent Bulb at PETCO
At least I think it was that one, I know it was at least 5,000K and 15 watts.
After reading up, I've heard that plants do better at a higher Kelvin rating, so should I instead get a 15 watt bulb that has a temperature of 6500-6700K, such as this http://www.amazon.com/Life-Glo-Fluorescent-Bulb-Watt-Inches/dp/B0002DHSPA/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1330972189&sr=1-2-fkmr0 or this

Would having the increase in Kelvin improve my plant health and growth despite no wattage increase?
