lighting ?

so i have a 48" 55g set up, its cycled and ready to go.

i want a ton of plants.

what kind of lighting should i get, i would like to keep it as cheap as possible....

i have a 36" 30w coral life ballast/bulb set up i got with my tank for free...

would anyone like to point me in the right direction?

id prefer medium to high, i'll keep the lower light plants under the others.

they dont have any fixtures in stock...

nope i dont but i think a 4x54 ho would be pushing it maybe get a actinic with 3 of the white bulbs.

im gonna call them up tomorrow and see what they have and when theyre getting stuff in stock, i kind of want that 2x54 set up.

2x54 will be less demanding. plus they have great reflectors you are getting so much light into that tank.
