I found a coralife t5 dual lamp that would fit my 50 gallon tank for 120 bucks? I dont know much about lighting and was wondering if this was a good light for corals that I was thinking about putting in my tank and if it is good is it a good price for it?

Only for softies, and you'll want to keep some of them towards the top.

I have the same thing for my 30, and I have torch, ricordias, xenia, anthelia, sponge, button polyps, hundreds of zoos thriving.

I got a 48" quad t5 with bulbs, moonlights and built in timers for $110 at aquatraders.com. Its an odyssea, i know there are a lot of mixed reviews about that brand out there but for the price i am very satisfied with what i got.

What about the linkable aquatic life fixtures? They have individual reflectors and if u want to get more light you can just buy more separately at $125
