I have a 47 gallon tank 90 long 40 wide and 46 high cm.
I have an elodea and amazon sword plant and I want to buy a floating plant like cabomba or something. My question is what light would I need for the plants and to show off the fish?

You could go t5ho, a 48" dual lamp would do, or led, I just picked up an led hood and it looks amazing, not sure about how well it will grow plants yet but I'm optimistic.

Blue as in the first one
atnic and 10k+ are more so for reef and sw, I have heard people use them for non planted cichlid tanks to get colors popping.. If you like the blue go led, most cone with the daylight for plants and than a moonlight setting for night viewing, mine has it and it's way cool!

So blue led for night viewing. That sounds like a good idea
yes sir, but not all LEDs are up to the task of growing plants, you need to check the par rating, basically refers to how far usable light penetrates the water.
