Nope , grew all on its own, these were totally white when I get them , takes about 2 months and white rocks are purple

I got 3lb of super purple rock as my start to my biological filter and it's only gotten better since then pretty much all my rock is purple like that , except 20lb of the new rock but its been 4 weeks now and it's already starting to get purple
