I put a Narrow Leaf Java Fern, and Cryptocoryne Balansae in my tank a few months back. They seem to be growing fine but they both have some dark spots going on the leaves. This is something I need to worry about ???

Slow growing plants tend to grow algae on them quite a bit. Try getting shrimps or oto cats and see if that take care of the problem

Ok thanks. Not sure if shrimp would make it in my tank? And i have some cory cats will they help?

What are some more low/medium light plants??? Would like to add some more.

Anubias, vallisneria, dwarf sag, wisteria, and hornwort are some of my favorite low light plants that are very easy to grow. What is your lighting and are you dosing fertilizer? If so what fertilizers are you dosing? By the way the plants look pretty healthy from what I can tell from the picture, good job! :)

I have 2-T5 120v 28w. I don't use fertilizer but i do use root tabs once a month.

I just added a Moss Ball and a Anubias Arfzelii. Is there anything special I need to do for caring for these two???

How do you like those so far
