I have a 55 gallon rectangle aquarium with a center support running on the top through the middle. The tank is inset at the top for the two hoods of which I only have one. It's set-up for a fluorescent bulb right now. I'd like to find two hoods that are LED to fit my aquarium. I like the Marineland LED hoods but I'm not sure they fit into the aquarium I have. Does anybody have aNY advice on this.
My second question is can't plants be sustained under LED lighting?
And third question unrelated. I think I have a bacterial bloom in my tank? Will testing my water have a result that will prove this?
