LR sick or good

I'm going to pick up about 25lbs of live Fiji rock for $2 a pound..is there any way to visually inspect it for bad things? Like algae or pest or whatever..any way to verify its healthy?

i would watch out for pests like aiptasia

Bubble algae and aipastia would be what I would look for as for bad rock. Even green algae can be cleaned up with some effort.

i would use the hyposalinity treatment with a good scrub to brush off anything that's suspicious.
