i am determined to purchase a majestic angel for my reef. what precautions should i take. What are youre opinions on the combination of this fish and a reef. What past experiences have you had with fish, good or bad.

By reef, do you mean a tank with corals?

The Blue Girdled Angelfish is not a good reef dweller, being prone to nip at stony and soft corals (sessile invertebrates) and clam mantles. It generally will not harm small-polyped stony corals and somewhat noxious soft corals.

you might have to make some hard decisions on what you will be willing to give up in order to keep this fish

should i try using one of those in-tank refugiums that you attach to the glass to aclimate. should i get it juvenile, small adult or big adult. what can i do to have the best chance of success with the angel not nipping.
