Male or Female?

Male, you can tell by the "spike" at the front of his dorsal fin, females (and sometimes young males) don't have that.

Thanks. I was unsure because i thought females had short spikes and males had really long ones.

Yep, thats a male. Females have a ridge on top but not the hi fin.
