Help! My mandarin has a swollen throat! I woke up this morning and its huge! Anyone know what could cause this?

Is a fresh water dip safe?
Don't fw dip. It doesn't do anything IMO. Also, mandarins have a special slime coat, that dip would probably kill him. He could of been stung by the nem which might of caused the large swelling on his throat. Is he still pecking at rocks trying to eat?

Yeah he is eating fine. The stupid fish store tried telling me to dip him. Im glad i asked before i did it. He ate allot of black worms when i fed them and is picking rotifers off rocks now. He seems fine.

All the other fish look fine. My cowfish looks perfect.
If he's eating fine and all your parameters are fine I'd just give him time. Good luck!

Ugggg it doesnt look any better today he is eating though
