Measurements are all there as well as the Yard sticks in the pics as a reference. Measurements of any with multiple pieces has the largest piece measured. Manzanita is very versatile and can be used to scape in many different ways. Lay it in the tank, situated with a small piece of slate, tied from the top of the tank to give the appearance of coming from above, or ???? there is just so many possibilities. I can also trim any piece for you if you like. Send me your zip code for a shipping quote. A lot will ship for $15-20 with the larger pieces being just a little more.

Remember

All pieces are measured from the widest points which is usually a thin branch. So if a piece is only a few inches to big for your tank it can be trimmed most of the time without loosing it's style. Trimming can be easily done with pliers, snips, saws, or even scissors.

I ordered a piece from you a couple of weeks back. It came in looking great. I cut two smaller branches from it to eventually look like trees (if the LFS ever orders my moss). I'm very satisfied with the wood you sent me and the packaging was great. I found your site from a banner in this forum.

I only cut the branches yesterday so they're not in the tank yet (no pics). I still need to silicone them to stone to position them. I'm probably going to go with either flame or Christmas moss, maybe even one type for each tree in two different tanks. The shop I go to doesn't order plants often so it may be a couple of weeks. More time to plan out the scape and soak the wood.

After a couple days of soaking you shouldnt have to secure the branches to stones. They will stay where you put them in the substrate. Unless if you want them really secure.

Really? That's good to know. I've only worked with large heavy pieces of wood so I wasn't sure about securing the small branches I cut from the larger piece you sent. I'll try it out. Thanks for the tip.

I may even use the rest of the wood in my main tank. I thought that cutting the branches off the big piece would ruin the look of it but it didn't. I'll try it out and post some pics once it's in the tank.

Just bought 3 pieces for my 50g. I will be attempting to set them up to look like trees just like CorallineAlgae did. Moss and all.

I will try and set them up on one side of the tank to create a forest look to that side of the tank and leave the other side open with a nice carpet plant to make a field type of look. With some medium to taller plants lining the back of the tank.

I hope I can get it to all work out how I want it.

You were right! It stays in place perfectly fine without having to do anything. The branches to make the tree is going to my daughter's tank. I put the leftover pieces of Manzanita in my 5.5 gallon tank. If you look carefully you can see where I cut the wood. I just added it to the tank yesterday and it really transformed the look of the tank. I'm so glad I saw your banner. Nobody sells this type of wood anywhere around where I live.

I can't post the "tree" pic until I finish aquascaping my daughter's tank (she want's it to be finished before I post a pic.. she's 11) but here's what I did with the wood that wasn't used for her tank.
