So I went out and bought this light after deciding I was tired of my hood light. So far, its a good light overall (been running 3 hours now) and haven't had a chance to test the moonlight yet. Any thoughts on that? Like I said, so far I really like this lighting vs the hood lighting. It adds the same effect similar to the bottom of a pool on a bright day, in that, the light seems to move, and the blue leds are on when white are, which I feel makes it seem overall brighter.

I have a Marineland double bright LED (600 lumens) on my 20g high tank, and it's worked well for me. My large java fern is sprouting a bunch of new ferns, and I have some amazon swords that have grown taller than the tank and are bending over to provide surface cover.

Yours looks like it would provide more light than mine does.

The only thing I wish I could change on the light would be to separate the method for turning on the moonlight and regular light. I can't really put them on different timers to make one turn on when the other turns off, so I never really use the moonlight feature.
